Want to paint with watercolours but worried about their scary reputation? Or have you started painting in this great medium but want to loosen up your techniques and be more expressive? This retreat takes a maximum of eight painters and has been designed with you in mind. With Catherine’s help spend the luxury of two days developing a series of ‘postcards from the sea’ plus a larger painting to take key techniques back home with you and fall in love with the ‘whoosh’ of cascading paint and bright colours.
Starts 2pm Friday until 8pm (including pub supper.) Continuing Saturday 10-4 (including pub lunch.)
Venue: Private upstairs workroom at the Packhorse Bath (Tripadvisor 2023 Travellers’ Choice) a Jacobean community-owned pub BA2 7DU.
Includes all materials, two main meals, teas/coffees, handouts, demos and one-to-one tutoring.
