12-13 March – The illusion of sunlight – Retreat for Improvers

Take an in depth look at reflecting and glowing sunlight. Trace its path across moving water, filtering past buildings and doorways and interrupted by leaves. Compose and record its drama using the full range of tone from the white of the paper to intense tubed paint. Mix colours cleanly for added ‘freshness’ and help your paintings ‘come alive’. The group is kept to a maximum of eight for demos and an element of individual tutoring throughout.
Timings: Starts 2pm Friday until 8pm including pub supper at 7. Continues Saturday 10-4 including pub lunch.
Includes: Artboard, Friday pub supper and Saturday lunch, teas/coffees, generous tuition and demos.
Venue: Private workroom upstairs at Packhorse Bath (Trip Advisor 2022 Travellers’ Choice) a Jacobean community-owned pub BA2 7DU.
