More about Atmospheric landscapes for beginners Friday 7 February:
at Museum of Bath Stone, 54a Combe Road, Combe Down Village, Bath BA2 5HZ.
Step-by-step we will create subtle landscape scenes in watercolour to transport the viewer through misted valleys. We will start by discussing what makes a good subject, take a look at composition and rough plan our paintings.
Demonstrations of my gravity painting techniques throughout will help you layout loose colour, create detail and adjust your image by removing paint.
Our day will end with ways to review your painting. Our group is kept to a maximum of eight participants so that there is a good view of the step-by-step demonstrations plus an element of personalised tutoring during the day. The day costs £80 – all materials are provided for you and chosen to help you get great results.
