Set aside time to paint with like-minded participants in 2016!
Learn to mix colours on your painting using watercolour board. Create brave washes using flat brushes and pool rich pigments wet-in-wet.
Spring 2016 Landscape workshop dates:
Tuesday 26th January 10.30am – 3pm: winter trees;
Tuesday 22nd March 10.30am – 3pm: views with clouds & weather
Tuesday 24th May 10.30am – 3pm: Bath slopes
I will have photos of each subject for inspiration but feel free to bring your own images. This day is suitable for beginners as well as painters with experience.
Spring 2016 Head & shoulder portraits workshop dates:
Wednesday 27th January 10.30 – 3pm
Wednesday 23rd March 10.30 – 3pm
Wednesday 25th May 2016 10.30am – 3pm
Deepen your understanding of building complex form, combining “wet-in-wet” techniques and the subtleties of “lifting-off”. Use an enlarged A4 photo to inspire you or pick from one of my subjects.
Suitable for painters with a little experience.
COST: £80 per day. Watercolour board, brushes and artists’ tube paints are all provided. Includes a lovely lunch and tea/coffee “on tap”. Just bring yourself.

The village is located on the southern edge of Bath, not far from National Trust’s Prior Park gardens.
