Following the new lockdown announcement, it is sadly necessary to postpone all physical Bath Watercolour Workshops until later this Spring. Bath will need to be out of Tier 3 health alert level before they can be reorganised. I am individually contacting those who have bookings.
If, like me, you can see the wintery weeks stretching out ahead of you, you may like to join in my Zoom alternative workshops. There are monthly landscape workshops and a new January portrait masterclass over two Saturday mornings. Please visit my Online Workshop page for more: https://catherinebeale.com/online-watercolour-workshops-with-zoom/
January Bath Watercolour Workshop:
Bath is now in Tier 3 health alert level. I am seeking clarification for the January 27 workshop and will be contacting those with bookings individually.
To hear about future workshop events:
Please email Catherine to be pencilled in for the physical February and March Workshops and/or to be kept up to date about future dates. Bath Watercolour Workshops are designed to help you brush up on your watercolour techniques, loosen your painting style or learn to use this expressive watercolour medium. I hope to see you later in 2021!
Zoom Workshops Programme: There is a new monthly watercolour workshop January-April 2021 on a Wednesday mid-month on Zoom. For more details and to book visit: https://catherinebeale.com/online-watercolour-workshops-with-zoom/
There is now a new weekend watercolour session planned for Saturday 20 February 2021 at Widcombe Social Club. (This has replaced the Friday 19 February date.) All the above workshops take place at this spacious upstairs venue. Should the venue have to close temporarily under new government guidelines, you will be offered a replacement workshop date or a refund.
Please click here to book my final two Zoom 2020 Workshops:

Christmas gift idea: Workshop Vouchers make thoughtful gifts –
Voucher values can be £80 – covering one of my physical Spring Bath Watercolour Workshop Days – or £20 for each beginners’ Zoom workshop. I have also designed a starter pack of £20-worth of art materials to compliment my workshops.

Thank you to Ottervale Art Society for co-hosting my watercolour demo last week which I based on a semi-abstract wave.
Here is the summary the Society created for their website:
Join me today as I share my “gravity painting” techniques live in front of a camera.
The demo is based around one of my previous landscapes “sun rising over water” – an appropriately, seasonal subject as I look out over this misty Sunday morning!
To book and pay please visit https://catherinebeale.com/online-watercolour-workshops-with-zoom/
I have three more subjects to help inspire your watercolours in November.
The first two dates are in partnership with the lovely Cam Valley Art Trail which takes place virtually this year just to the south west of Bath.
Why not sit back and enjoy my watercolour demo with a cup of tea on Sunday 8th November? Or try out a beginners or intermediate workshop?
Just email me with the date(s) you would like to book and pay by BACS/ credit/debit card payment link or PayPal on my workshop page.
As usual, a source image and materials list will be emailed with your Zoom invite in advance of each class. The demo invite will include a link to my YouTube live stream.
