I enjoy diving deep into watercolours with one or two painters on my private tuition days. Student requests range from helping them prepare to tackle a particular subject on holiday, to creating work for a local art group exhibition or to find the likeness of a loved one in paint. A common thread is their frustration at not finding more time in their diary to paint. The level of enthusiasm after a session can overcome these feelings, reveal the benefits of occasionally investing time in oneself and allow more time to spend opening their eyes to the full scope of wonderful watercolours!
