Do you want to loosen up your wet-in-wet techniques and inject atmosphere into your compositions? Spend the luxury of two days in a small group with Catherine’s tuition looking in depth at all aspects of ‘Capturing light’ in watercolours. Explore ‘charging’ washes full of rich colour, ‘lifting off’ pigment to develop glow and developing complex lighting patterns. With the help of demonstrations develop your own landscape to take away and gain insights into what lights up your art. For painters with a little watercolour knowledge.
Starts 2pm Friday until 8pm (including pub supper.) Continuing Saturday 10-4 (including pub lunch.) Maximum eight painters.
Venue: upstairs at Packhorse Bath (Trip Advisor 2022 Travellers’ Choice) a Jacobean community-owned pub BA2 7DU.
Includes all materials, two main meals, teas/coffees, demos and an element of one-to-one tuition.
