Experience the luxury of two days experimenting, combining these two complimentary media in quick sketches and larger paintings, culminating in a line and wash masterpiece. Catherine’s demos will show you how to inject lively line into your work as you spend Friday sketching. On Saturday you will develop your masterpiece adding rich washes over strong ink patterns to draw the eye and provide beautiful colour to delight the viewer. All welcome.
Timings: Starts 2pm Friday until 8pm including pub supper at 7. Continues Saturday 10-4 including pub lunch.
Includes: Two pub meals, teas/coffees, watercolour artboard, demos and one-to-one tuition. Maximum eight painters. Materials list sent in advance.
Venue: Private workroom upstairs at Packhorse Bath (Trip Advisor 2022 Travellers’ Choice) a Jacobean community-owned pub BA2 7DU.
